Health is not just about food choices, what you think and believe are just as important.
- Tristan Faville, MScN, Holistic Nutritionist
We want to share our knowledge with you. Knowledge is power and that power allows us to change. Our daily inspirational emails, weekly enlightening newsletters from our holistic nutritionist and 5 Element Acupuncturist, kitchen tutorial videos, and monthly movie and book recommendations will keep you excited and empowered.
When you understand the why, your ability to sustain change is easy. We want to give you the root understanding of why these food recommendations are good for you. We want to open your mind to new ways of thinking about the relationship between your body and health.
When you recover or discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy, care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life.
- Jean Shinoda Bolan
We want you to remember that you come first. We are focusing on our education, careers, kids, family, taking care of our parents, and worrying about our own health issues. We have forgotten that we can't take care of anyone else unless we take care of ourselves. We have forgotten to feed our spirit. A healthy spirit connects us to our authentic self and leads us to the life we were intended to live.
We want to remind you of ways to fill your soul. What makes you tingle from head to foot? What gives you goosebumps? How long has it been since you've done something that makes you feel this way? We all know that the roots of a plant need to be watered and tended in order for it to flourish. Our body is like a plant and we spend most of our time watering the leaves and stems. Our daily and weekly correspondence will allow you to cultivate the roots of your plant. The fruit that grows from this inner gardening will enhance your life while reconnecting you to your spirit.
Working our way back to what makes us feel nourished on every level is vital. Optimal health is rooted in our feelings. Feelings feed our thoughts which then manifests as our reality. Be intrigued with what your body is telling you; not only symptomatic issues but also ways in which it is asking you to grow. If your back is in pain ask yourself how much responsibility are you carrying? Is the load too heavy? Do you feel like you could break apart from stress? Our program brings to the table the body-mind-spirit connection that invites you to explore a deeper level of meaning around your health.
