Winter Grapefruit Smoothie

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 1 small peeled grapefruit*
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root
  • 1 small green apple, cored
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ small avocado
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons flaxmeal
  • 6 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 2-4 drops stevia, optional
  • Dash sea salt
  • Ice, optional

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend on high until completely smooth. Add additional water to reach desired thickness. Pour into 2 glasses or to-go jars.

*If you are not a fan of grapefruit, start with just 1/2
